As a maintenance electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment at Bulten in Hallstahammar. The job includes both planned and emergency maintenance of machines and electrical installations, focusing on ensuring high operational reliability and minimal downtime.

You will diagnose and rectify electrical and control technology faults, perform component replacements and repairs, and conduct self-checks after completing your work. The role also involves working with control and automation systems, including programming and modifications in control systems.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on electrical and production equipment.

• Identifying and ordering necessary spare parts.

• Conducting risk assessments and documenting work in the maintenance system (MM).

• Carrying out root cause analyses and suggesting improvements.

• Installing, commissioning, and updating electrical systems according to applicable standards.

• Collaborating closely with production and other departments to improve routines and work methods.

On-call duty may occur.

Profile:

We are looking for an experienced and solution-oriented electrician with a strong interest in technology, automation, and industrial maintenance. You have relevant education in electrical engineering or automation, preferably with authorization for electrical installations, and several years of practical experience as a machine electrician or maintenance technician in the industry.

You have a good ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams, and preferably knowledge of PLC systems, control, and regulation technology. Experience in troubleshooting, assembly, and working according to maintenance methodology and 5S is an advantage.

As a person, you are service-oriented, independent, and structured, but you also enjoy collaboration and knowledge sharing. You actively contribute to improvement work and development within the team, and have a desire to continuously learn and grow.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have a good understanding of English. The role also involves occasionally training or mentoring colleagues and new employees.

The position is full-time, daytime, but other shift forms may occur.
